

One of my favorite things is a Chai Cream with Vanilla Bean Powder 2 shots AffogatoFrappuccino, with caramel drizzle of course! To make a healthier and vegan version I make a protein version.
Vanilla Chai Protein Shake Affogato
Makes 1 serving
1c almond or coconut milk (used So Delicious Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk Plus)
1 scoop Vega One Vanilla Chai
1 small frozen banana and or ice (banana will make it creamier)
2 shots espresso
caramel drizzle optional (I will use a mixture of almond butter and yakon syrup or agave)
*Alternatively I will sometimes make this with Vega Sport Performance Protein and use 1/2 of a cup of cooled chai tea concentrate (I made it with twice as much tea and steep it twice as long when making it) and 3/4 of a cup of milk.
In a Vitamix or high-speed blender blend milk, protein powder, and banana and or ice until smooth. Pour shake into a glass and pour two shots of espresso over the top. Enjoy!
