Tropical Watermelon Recovery Slush

I had some watermelon I put in the freezer to eat and it sounded good after my workout so I decided to blend it with my Vega Sport Recovery and all I can say is the results are so delicious I wanted to run right out the door for a run just so I had a reason to come back and make another one!

 

Tropical Watermelon Recovery Slush

Makes 1 serving

2c frozen watermelon chunks

1 scoop Vega Sport Recovery Accelerator, Tropical

1/2-3/4c water*

 

*I made it with 1/2 cup of water in my Vitamix and it is very thick, eat it with a spoon thick, and had tu use my tamper tool. If you are using another blender or don’t want it as thick I would at 3/4 cup of water, or maybe even a little more.

 

In a Vitamix or high-speed blender mix water and Vega Tropical Accelerator. Add in ice and blend, using the tamper tool or pulsing, until thick and smooth. Enjoy!

 

If your kids also want one blend together watermelon and coconut water, plain water, or juice of choice for a refreshing treat.
