Nut Butter Apple Sundaes
PB&Co Cinnamon Raisin Peanut Butter, Justin’s Vanilla Alomond Butter, and Wild Friends Honey Pretzel Peanut Butter

Caramel apple sundaes were one of the things we would make with apples we picked. Cleaning things up we started using nut butter instead of sugary caramel and instead of cutting up the apples, drizzling with peanut butter, and topping with ice cream we made these cut little apple cups, added a scoop of ice cream, and drizzled our favorite nut butters over top. These are quick and easy well they would have been if we didn’t spend forever trying to decide which nut butter each of us wanted to use.

Nut Butter Apple Sundaes

Makes 1

1 apple (used Red Lady as they are a little softer)

1 scoop ice cream (used So Delicious Vanilla Coconut Milk Ice Cream and Vanilla)

2 TBSP nut butter of choice (used Justin’s Vanilla Almond Butter, Peanut Butter & Co Cinnamon Raisin Peanut Butter, and Wild Friends Honey Pretzel Peanut Butter)

Slice top and steam off of your apple and remove seeds being careful not to poke a hole in the bottom of the apple. I find it easiest to use a melon baller and scoop out what I need to. If you want fill the apples with cinnamon sugar, a surprise, or just pack them with the ice cream. Top with a scoop of ice cream and drizzle your favorite nut butter over top. Enjoy!
