Looking for a fresh dessert that is full of flavor? This just might be it! These Sorbet Cantaloupe Sundaes are fresh, light and a great summer dessert. Cantaloupe slices are topped with lemon sorbet and drizzled with fresh raspberry sauce!
Sorbet Cantaloupe Sundaes
makes 4 servings
1/2 a cantaloupe, sliced into 4 wedges
1 pint lemon sorbet (used Ciao Bella Lemon Zest)
1c raspberries, fresh or frozen (used ones we picked last year and froze, thawed)
1tsp stevia in the raw (optional)
In a Vitamix or high-speed blender puree your raspberries to make the sauce. If using a high speed blender and you have seeds you may need to strain the mixture if you do not want seeds. Taste and determine if you want to add sweetener, this will be personal preference. Place a scoop of lemon sorbet in the middle of your cantaloupe slice as shown in the picture and drizzle with raspberry sauce. Enjoy!
