Pecan Pear Quinoa Breakfast Bowl

Another one of my favorite quinoa breakfast bowls. Quinoa breakfast bowls are great if you have leftover quinoa. These quick and easy bowls can be made with rice or oats as well and will grow on you and quickly replace your morning breakfast cereal.


Pecan Pear Quinoa Breakfast Bowl

makes 1

1/2- 1 c cooked organic quinoa

1/2 organic pear, chopped

1 TBSP raw chopped pecans

1 TBSP craisins

dash of cinnamon (optional)

Vanilla Almond Milk, or other milk of choice (used Silk Vanilla Almond Milk)


*Add more or less of what you like. Don’t have quinoa use left over brown rice or make some oats. Raisins or chopped dates can be used in place of craisins. Play around, use what you have, customize it however you want!


This breakfast bowl is delicious warm or cold. I like to just throw it all together cold and then pour steamed almond milk over the top. You can use as little or as much milk as you want, sometimes I use just a slash and others I will add more to make it more like cereal. If you want it cold just put all the ingredients in a bowl. If you want it warm you can warm your quinoa and then add in toppings or put it all together and then heat it up. Add a little cinnamon if you like.
