Peaches & Cream Pop

The girls wanted to make popsicles for National Peaches and Cream Day, so we did just that! I let them decide how they how they were going to make theirs and I even made a protein version for myself. We made ours using a Zoku Popsicle Maker which we love because it makes popsicles in less than 10 minutes! We mix up the stuff, they pour it in, they wave their wands, and poof we have popsicles!

The girls Peaches & Cream Pops

Made 4 popsicles

1/2c vanilla bean yogurt

2TBSP milk*

1 peach, halved and pit removed

*The amount of milk will depend on the type of yogurt you use and your popsicle maker. If your yogurt is thin and can be poured easily you may not need milk, again depending on what you are using to make your popsicles.

In a Vitamix or high-speed blender puree peach, we left the skin on. In a bowl mix yogurt and milk. If you want to make a half and half popsicle pour peach puree half way up your popsicle mold and let set in the freezer for about 2-3 minutes and then pour yogurt mixture to fill the remaining half of the mold. For layers place desired amount in the popsicle maker, let set 2-3 minutes, fill next layer, repeat. In less than 10 minutes you have delicious Peaches & Cream Pops! Enjoy!

Mama’s Peaches & Cream Protein Pops

Makes 4 popsicles

1 scoop vanilla protein powder (used Vega One French Vanilla)

1c almond or coconut milk (used So Delicious Unsweetened Vanilla Coconut Milk)

1/2 peach, diced

Mix protein powder (Vega One) and milk. Depending on the popsicle maker you are using place the peaches in and fill with protein mixture or mix peaches in and then pour into popsicle mold. For the Zoku I dropped peaches in and they stuck to the sides and then poured in my protein mixture and they were set in 7 minutes. Enjoy!
