Fresh Ginger Shake/ Smoothie

I wasn’t feeling so well today but had to eat something so I made this Fresh Ginger Shake, Smoothie. I love fresh ginger ale and ginger in general so I would probably make this shake anytime but it really hit the spot today.


Fresh Ginger Shake/ Smoothie

1 serving

1c almond milk, or other non dairy milk (used Silk Unsweetened Almond Milk)

1- 1 1/2 fresh bananas (if using frozen you will just need less ice)

1- 1 1/2 tsp fresh grated ginger root (I like ginger and used 1 1/2 tsp and could have maybe used more)

1 scoop Natural nutritional protein powder (used Vega One Natural)



Combine milk, banana, ginger, and protein powder in a high speed speed blender or VitaMix and blend. Add ice, I used just over a cup, and blend until smooth.
