Sometimes things just hit me and we go with the flow and have fun! Sometimes this means we add ice cream to our smoothies for breakfast and have Fresh Fruit Summer Smoothie Floats! Yep it is summer, schools out, and we are going to make the most of it. I am cherishing every moment with my girls making memories, dance parties all day, I get to act silly and embrace my childish side (yep even in my mid 30’s)! Celebrate summer with these Fresh Fruit Summer Smoothie Floats . So simple to make all you need is fresh fruit, ice, and your favorite ice cream (we used So Delicious Coconut Milk Ice Cream)! The girls couldn’t pick one flavor so they each got their own and I made 2 smoothies, mango, strawberry, and orange. Making the 3 floats shown and a jumbo one that was a mix of all of them for myself! Just like a summers sunrise they are great start, or end, to any summer day!
Fresh Fruit Summer Smoothie Floats
Makes 1-2
1 mango, peeled and pitted
1c ice
1-2 scoops vanilla, coconut, or non dairy ice cream of choice (used So Delicious Coconut Milk Ice Cream, Coconut)
OR
1 orange, peeled
1c ice
1-2 scoops vanilla, coconut, or non dairy ice cream of choice (used So Delicious Coconut Milk Ice Cream, Vanilla)
OR
1-1 1/2c fresh strawberries
1c ice
1-2 scoops vanilla, coconut, or non dairy ice cream of choice (used So Delicious Coconut Milk Ice Cream, Vanilla)
OR
Fruit of choice, ice, and ice cream! Create your own combo!
In a Vitamix blend fruit of choice until smooth. Add ice and blend until smooth. Pour into 1 large glass or two smaller glasses and top with a scoop of ice cream. Enjoy!
