I wanted a Dirty Chai Latte, chai with espresso in it, but decided to make up this Chocolate Dirty Chai Chip Protein Shake instead. Chai, chocolate, and espresso….. sounds good to me!
Chocolate Dirty Chai Chip Protein Shake
Makes 1 serving
1 scoop chai protein powder (used Vega One Vanilla Chai)
1 c almond milk (used So Delicious Unsweetened Almond Milk Plus)
2 TBSP raw cacao
2 shots espresso, optional
1/3 Vega Maca Chocolate Bar or 2 TBSP sweet cacao nibs or chocolate chips
*If not adding espresso I like to add a frozen banana to this and omit the ice.
In a Vitamix, or high-speed blender, blend together protein powder, milk, cacao, espresso, and ice until smooth. Add in chocolate bar/chips and blend until well chopped. Enjoy!
