Caramelized Pear and Beet Salad

This quick salad has great flavor and is great without dressing. It is quick, simple, healthy and another great salad to add to your collection of go to salads.


Carmalized Pear and Beet Salad

1 serving

2-3 cups organic baby spinach

3 small cooked, cooled, and peeled organic beets, sliced (I use packaged already cooked beets this time)

1/4-1/2 shallot, thinly sliced

1 small ripe organic pear

1-2 TBSP organic walnut pieces



I just used a little organic hemp oil and pepper. This salad really doesn’t need a dressing but would be good with a raspberry vinaigrette, dijon vinaigrette, or balsamic dressing of choice.


Slice and arrange pears on a pan and broil in the oven a few minutes until caramelized, cool a couple minutes while preparing salad. Toss or arrange spinach, beets, shallots, pear, walnuts, and dressing of choice. Enjoy!
